Job Description/Purpose: 


The Team Manager will be responsible for managing a team of IT Customer Service 

Consultants, influencing service delivery, achieving required service levels and 

customer satisfaction. 


Skills Required: 


Managerial skills record (at least 2 years) 

Proficiency in the English language. 

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. 

Strong commercial awareness. 

Tactical and strategic thinking. 

Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity. 

Sound planning and organisational skills. 

Good communication & presentation skills. 

Positive drive and enthusiasm with a willingness 

and desire to grow and develop. 

Understanding of Service Desk services and ITIL 

will be an asset. 

Multi-lingual and international experience 

will be an asset.


 Responsibilities: 

Leading and motivating the team 
Identifying and developing people 
  with technical or management potential. 
Ensuring that Service requirements 
are clear and understood. 
Managing processes (Correct Call Routing etc). 
Planning to achieve cost effective results. 
Identifying and recruiting appropriate people. 
Deploying work packages/objectives 
appropriately. 
Understanding what needs to be done 
to meet requirements and achieve SLA’ s. 
Monitoring work and reports on progress 
against service level, cost, time, specificati. 
Building and enhancing client strong relationships. 
Acting as escalation point for client and customer. 
Intervening to achieve required result.
