Job description/Purpose:

Carry out basic Procurement Operations functions in line with the defined processes.  Ensure systems are accurately updated, effective communication with stakeholders is maintained, and SLA timescales are met.  Work closely with other team members to ensure effective handover of ongoing work when necessary.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Supplier Due Diligence

  • Environmental Due Diligence

  • Financial Health check

  • Policy/Process Documentation Management

  • Intranet/Internet Content Management

  • Internal/Supplier communication management

  • Procurement helpdesk and initial point of contact

Skills required:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Excellent command of English or French

  • English, both written and verbal is essential

  • Logical approach to complex work problems

  • Good time management skills and work prioritisation

  • Ability to use Word & Excel

  • Completer/Finisher personality

  • University degree or equivalent desirable

  • Basic negotiation skills
